OUR MISSION

The Ruth Program was founded on April 9, 2017, with a simple purpose: to stand with women who find themselves in unexpected and difficult seasons of life. As our world continues to change, many women are facing circumstances they never imagined — and we are here to remind them that they are not alone.

We don’t claim to change the world, but we are committed to faithfully doing our part. Sometimes that “part” looks small from the outside — like providing a Car Camping Kit to a woman living out of her vehicle — yet to her, that moment of relief is the anchor she’s been praying for. Those small acts of support often become the spark of hope she needs to keep going.

This is why we do what we do. We’ve seen the transformation that happens when a woman finally has someone who listens, counsels with constructive guidance, and offers spiritual wisdom. If you could see the relief on their faces — the way their shoulders drop, their breathing steadies, and their hope returns — you would understand the heart behind our mission.

Sponsorship Partner

As a small, women‑led charity, we’ve taken on every role needed to serve the women in our community. Yet we know we cannot do this work alone. Our sponsorship partners make it possible for us to continue showing up for unhoused women with consistency and hope.

We invite you to join us as a sponsored partner through a one-time or monthly commitment of one or more Car Camping Kits. In return, your business receives access to applications from women seeking Day Labor Opportunities, creating a bridge between immediate relief, which can turn into long‑term stability.

To Our Unhoused Women

Our goal is to support you with essential supplies, counseling, and access to meaningful job prospects. Through our Day Labor resources, you can connect with employers who are open to fresh hires and willing to explore short‑term work that may grow into a more permanent opportunity. Sometimes a single day of work — enough to cover food or gas — can provide the hope and momentum you need to keep moving forward. If you are interested in Day Labor opportunities, please send us your resume so we can begin advocating for you.

There are times when we also hire for Day Labor positions, whether in the field or on the phones. We want to be clear about one important guideline: if you are not currently living out of your vehicle or in a serious crisis situation, please do not request a Car Camping Kit. Our resources are the Lord’s provision, and misrepresenting your circumstances only harms those who truly need help. We ask that you consider your needs honestly and respectfully before requesting supplies.

We are here for women who genuinely need assistance. While we cannot meet every need, we have many community contacts, and it’s possible one of them may be able to support you further depending on your situation.
